Information on buying a car from Copart through us
Broker Services
We are now offering a service where you can purchase a car from the Copart used/salvage vehicle auction. This is usually only available to new and used car dealers but by buying through us it allows you to save money on getting a used car or even a project car to rebuild for much cheaper then buying new. As prices of new and used cars go up, people need a cheaper alternative. Buying a salvage car and putting some time and money into it could save you lots in the long run.
How It Works
Every Wednesday and Thursday there are local auctions at Copart. You can go onto their website at copart.ca and browse the selection of used/salvage vehicles. If you are interested in anything you can call/text/email us and we can discuss.
Wednesday Wholesale Auction
This auction runs every Wednesday at 2PM. It is a Canada wide auction but does include vehicles in Moncton and Halifax. The vehicles in this auction are clean title and run/drive. This doesn't mean that there isn't anything wrong with them and they usually have a reserve price.
Thursday Atlantic Auction
This Auction runs every Thursday at 1PM. It is an Atlantic auction with vehicles located in Moncton, Halifax and NFLD. This vehicles in this auction are mostly salvage titled. There can be clean titles as well but will need repairs. Most of these vehicles are pure sale.
Fees and Delivery
So in order to bid on a vehicle we need a $500 deposit before the auction begins. Once we agree on an amount you would like to bid up to we will set the max bid at that number and let the auction play out. If you win the vehicle and the seller accepts the bid (if there is a reserve or minimum bid), you will be sent an invoice for the full amount including all Copart fees, our buyers fee and taxes. This invoice needs to be paid by e-transfer within 2 days of the auction ending.
Fees
Copart charges a buyers fee, gate fee, auction fee, environment fee, and carfax fee. This list can be found in the document bellow. We charge a $500 broker fee which can be paid with your deposit.
Transportation
We offer free pickup and delivery to our shop. If you want the vehicle delivered to your residence or shop, there will be a minimum $100 delivery fee plus fuel.
